50-50
age: 28
gender: female
I have been looking for an apartment in New York for some time now and have found it quite challenging.
Recently I found an apartment I really liked but am doubtful if it is the right one as my husband is in two minds about it.
We have to make a decision as soon as possible otherwise we will lose it.
I am writing to you because today's horoscope talked about searching for a place to live and finding one's serenity.
My husband says he is 50-50 about the apartment where as I can completely visualize myself in it.
Please offer some of your keen insight.
I read your pages every single day.
Thank you so so much.
The horoscope today speaks of ambivalence and commitment...which is more to the point in terms of your question. Being of two minds about anything is an indication that Mind and Soul are in conflict...and it's the Soul that we have trouble heeding in all such situations. Asking for an unequivocal oracular pronouncement is a legitimate means of giving weight to the voice of the soul...but often, we can allow the Mind / Ego to simply say "I told you so" in retrospect if the choice made turns out to be a difficult lesson for the ego.
My best sense of your situation leads me to believe that you are allowing your husband's ambivalence to do some of the dirty work involved. If this is genuinely the right space for you in terms of a place to live...by all means INSIST! You will be glad that you did, because it will force both of you to come to terms with the dictates of the Soul. Don't let your husband's ambivalence become a substitute or projection of your own. Look deep in your heart and ask if what you feel about the space is truly coming from within or is a trick of the Mind / Ego.
I also get the sense that you are both dealing with athe fear of disappointment in your lives and choices. The Soul will never let you down. Even if difficulties arise because of a soul-centered choice...they are only the means by which healing of the ego takes place. Be as clear as you can be about what your soul is telling you...and then surrender to that voice. Each time you do so...the other conditions for ambivalence in your life begin to melt away and disappear.
