Aries? / Taurus?

age: 37

gender: female

(its me again)

My date of birth is 4/21/62

I was born in Providence RI

My questions is: Where is my life going?

Well...being born on a day that the Sun changes sign is pretty significant, regardless of which side of the cusp you belong to. The interesting thing is that I don't believe that an Aries would ask that question...while a Taurean would certainly be interested...but not particularly worried. You didn't give your birth time...so it's not possible to be more specific, but with your Scorpio Moon and Piscean Jupiter you certainly have a lot going on in terms of Intuitive capacity. In that regard...don't overlook the fact that the place of your birth is extremely significant. It's as though you were brought into this world with a special benediction that no matter how anxious you might feel...your most important needs will be provided for. What you receive may not always be what you want...but you can count on it being just what you need.

When you're not sure which direction your headed in, it's time to make use of that Gen-X Virgoan Pluto. The next step is always suggested by whatever it is you've just finished or completed. If it doesn't suggest anything to you...it might not even have been worth doing in the first place. Getting things done just to get them out of the way is the kind of thing that leads to not knowing where the future is, or should be going. If you take a careful and critical look at where you've come from...you'll know intuitively where you should be going next.

On a more astrologic note...the North Node of the Moon was in Leo when you were born. This means that the cutting edge of your consciousness involves creativity and even performance of some sort. You need an audience and very much need the feedback of others. For certain individuals, that's just an awful thing. For you...however...it's precisely what the future indicates. Remember that I didn't say approval...although who couldn't use a bit of strong support now and then. The key is feedback and an audience. Even if it's a chorus of boo's...there's something to be learned and utilized from that kind of energy. Something that will feed the spark of creativity that's waiting to burst into a useful flame within you.

i would like to know how i know if i have what it takes to be an astrologer

You ask a very good question. The answer probably won't surprise you...but it might disappoint you.

Astrology is a tool of Intuition. Anybody can use it...and from any perspective it is the kind of tool that suits some people more than others. The point I want to make is that I don't want you to worry about wondering if you've got the "right stuff" for astrology...but just the opposite...does astrology have the "right stuff" for you. If you like it...you'll be great no matter how deeply you delve into it because you'll be indulging your own enthusiasm. The more enthusiastic you are...the deeper you'll go. If, at some point, your interest wanes...it's because the tool just doesn't work for you at that time. Without any doubt...you'll simply know.

Another important point is that Intuition is a delicate thing. It requires care and attention as well as hard work. The hard part is in trusting what you "know", even if the voice of reason...(which is the voice of the Western-oriented Thinking function)...says No Way. What you know through Intuition can never be proven through Thinking, Feeling or Sensation...you just have to let go to trusting it despite the clamor of doubtful voices...each one claiming to be right while claiming that you're the only one who's wrong. Sometimes...(but certainly not always)...that's a good way to know you're in the right place.
