I have always known I have an important role to play in life, and do so

in many ways, but I am going through an overwhelming amount of confusion

and I need some serious guidance. Can you give me any? I don't normally

put my faith in things like sending e-mails out to strangers to get

advice, but I have a strong intuition and I am going to try it. I need

to ease my mind so I can get to work doing what needs to be done for

Happy belated Birthday Sara. Your Solar Return this year coincides with the Sun's present Conjunction to Saturn. So, as well as having transiting Mars Oppose your Sun...you've got transiting Neptune Squaring them both. This is an awfully busy set of influences to deal with...and Neptune certainly explains the worst of the confusion...but here it's up to you to change perspective on what's been most confusing. Allow yourself to realize you're being led nearly blindfolded into something much more exciting and creative than you would be if you could see clearly where you're going. We're talking about Intuition, here...and it's up to you to honor that without insisting on any logical or rational explanation...just yet. It's going to take all of your courage to continue feeling like you're groping around in the dark...wondering what gooey, creepy things you might put your hand in. Think of it as a trip through the Fun House and you'll be just fine. Of course THIS Fun House is really more than either a learning or entertaining experience...it promises that when you come out of the chute and land...you'll be very, very surprised...and if you cooperate with the energy...it will be a most pleasant surprise.

You've got your Saturn Return coming up next year... so think of this year as a marvelous Dionysian prelude to that necessarily sobering event.

Now...about this altruistic sense. Your Dragon's Head is in Aquarius...and you're due for a sort of double whammy as transiting Uranus will Conjunct her right about the time of your Saturn Return. For you to express an altruistic desire is perfectly in tune with your destiny, and I commend you for that. The key to Altruistic success, however, is to simply do everything you can to be yourself, first and foremost. The wounded healer is something of an overworked Archetype...and if you concentrate on healing the Self...you won't fail to achieve your desire. That's what needs to be done.
