just curious

I am curious. While reading the horoscopes tonight l learned that Pisces and
Gemni do not make a good match. Yet my husband and I have been married
nearly 18 years. How do you explain a happy union of a Pisces and a Gemni?
Just curious what you might say. I don't usually read horoscopes.
Well...being a Libra...I really don't think that there's any such thing as any 2 signs not making a good match. Unless, of course you're a quadruple Gemini (with Mercury in the 1st House) and your husband has nearly all of his planets Retrograde in the 4th and 12th Houses. That would possibly mean the most Extraverted and superficial gossip columnist in the world living with a tight-lipped, Introverted hospice worker just back from a visit to Mother Theresa's grave and a private audience with the Dalai Lama. Things could get rather difficult in such a household.
I won't assume that you're the Gemini...but that's only because we all have more than just one personality trait that makes up our character. Chances are you could be a 3rd House Pisces which could make you as close to Gemini as can be. I'm not trying to confuse you.... The point is that astrologic symbolism is simply more complex than any exaggerated Sun sign characteristic. Gemini's tend to be VERY curious...but that doesn't make them all superficial gossips. Pisceans tend to be very concerned about the suffering of others...as well as very Intuitive.... That doesn't mean that they all receive the stigmata or work in hospitals and prisons.
Gemini's capacity to live as a mature adult who retains the wonder and delight of a child can be a real tonic to Pisceans who believe in everyone's right to be free of pain, suffering AND punishment for being themselves. Sounds like you've both been able to manifest the brighter side of your respective signs.
